It was an amazing sunny weekend in London, what better time to try out our new rig at the fishing pond in Hampstead Heath. Conveniently there was a fruit stand just outside the station, we picked up our equipment and found a lovely spot in the sunshine...
This is a very innovative approach to trying to catch a sprat, or a tuna for that matter. Drive out to the coast, find a fruit shop, rig up and you're into it. Why didn't someone think of this before. What I like about it is that if you don't get any bites you can 'unrig' the fruit and have a delightful healthy snack on the way home! This is 'take it easy' fishing at its best.
