Fruit Fishin' on the Heath

It was an amazing sunny weekend in London, what better time to try out our new rig at the fishing pond in Hampstead Heath. Conveniently there was a fruit stand just outside the station, we picked up our equipment and found a lovely spot in the sunshine...

  1. This is a very innovative approach to trying to catch a sprat, or a tuna for that matter. Drive out to the coast, find a fruit shop, rig up and you're into it. Why didn't someone think of this before. What I like about it is that if you don't get any bites you can 'unrig' the fruit and have a delightful healthy snack on the way home! This is 'take it easy' fishing at its best.
